Some of you may have noticed the Beauty Tip Widget on my sidebar sponsored by Unilever.  As part of the posting campaign they asked me to post a few of my own beauty tips.  Here are just a few random tips I use and thought I would share with you.

• When you dye your hair always work with unwashed hair. The natural oils that build up over a day help with the color application.
• Keep your nail polish smooth by storing it in the refrigerator
• Use cooking spray to dry your nail polish quickly
• Need some quick lip gloss? Mix your favorite lipstick with Vaseline.
• Make your lipstick last longer by first applying lipstick, then a layer of pressed powder, followed by another layer of lipstick
• Powder on your lashes will also help mascara stay longer and flake less.
• The best moisturizer for any rough spots is Vaseline, elbows, lips, feet, fingers, you name it, Vaseline will soothe it! And did you know it also removes eye makeup. ( I am not kissing Unilever’s butt here, I really do love Vaseline!)
