As an the Community Manager of Collective Bias I don't get many opportunities to participate in our campaigns as I did when I was a community member, and I have to admit I miss it sometimes! Recently I was assigned to help coordinate a campaign for STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment and as we were discussing the project with our client all I could think about is how perfect this would be for my dad. Problem was, Dad doesn't have a blog, but I do So, I am happy to... Engine Maintenance with STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment

We have a big family and lots of friends so when it comes time for one of the kids birthday parties it can be a big production. Part of the program I am in with Ragu Mom’s the Word on Dinner is to have a party and show how Ragu can help with easy, healthy and affordable meals. So, I teamed up with my sister in law and helped her with my nephew’s 3rd birthday party. The food was a major hit and everyone left the party asking for recipes! So here for your viewing (and... Droid Razr Giveaway!! OMG
As you know I have been working with Verizon over the last few months on a program called #MidWestMoms, as part of this program I have received some cool gadgets to play around with including the Xoom Tablet and a Droid Bionic. I am so excited to announce that I get to share the fun with one of you by giving away a new Droid Razr!!! OMG yes I said it a Droid Razr giveaway!
Before I get to the giveaway lets talk a little bit more about the Droid Razr. I am a bit nostalgic about the Razr,... Pizza Soup
About 10 years ago I went out to lunch with a few co-workers and had the most interesting soup I have ever tasted in my life, pizza soup. I raved on and on about it to my husband and we have gone back to that same restaurant several times since then and they have never had it again. For 10 years I have still been able to taste that soup and I have craved it many, many times.
Since I am an ambassador for the Ragu Mom’s the Word on Dinner program, I figured what better time to... Droid Bionic ~ The Cool Stuff
I am almost embarrassed to admit that when looking for a new phone I do look at the technology behind the device, but what really sells me is the apps and how I can customize the phone for me and make it more my own. I recently received a Droid Bionic as part of the #MidwestMoms program I am an ambassador and although they did teach us about the techie features of the device, the thing that really stuck with me was the lightning fast 4 G LTE (I swear its not just a commercial slogan, it... Tween Academy – Tweens and Self-Esteem Wrap Up
Last week I had the pleasure of being on a panel for a Tween Academy chat at The Motherhood along with 5 other amazing bloggers and our awesome host Rosalind Weisman, author New York Times bestseller, Queen Bees and Wannabees. It was so great to talk with other moms who are struggling with how to encourage their tweens and teens in order to help them develop strong self-esteem. Sometimes as parents we feel as if we are the only ones with certain problems and having chats like this helps us... Free Books for Your Kids from Scholastic, Kellogg’s and Walmart
I have always been a huge fan of Scholastic Book Clubs. When I was in school I would get so excited when the teacher would pass out the book club order forms and I get just as excited now when my kids bring them home! I have also been the Scholastic Book Fair Chairperson at my kid's elementary School for the past 8 years and it brings me joy each and every time to see how excited the kids in the school are about books and reading. Unfortunately in this economy sometimes... Teenage Drivers #MOTOsafety
Having a Teenage Driver Can Be Stressful!
by Sandy Jenney
I know.. I’ve been through four so far!
My son Tim is 18 years old and has been driving for two years, but a mom never stops worrying. Once your kids are out the door you really don’t know how well they are driving, where they are going or how careful they are.
I got the chance to review the MOTOsafety device that helps you know where your teen is, where they have been and more! I was all for it!
My plan was to put the...
