It has been awhile since I have given the kids the opportunity to help me cook. If they had it their way they would help cook every night, instead, I usually go through the motions as quick as I can just to make sure we have a hot meal on the table in enough time to get to the nightly activity or next thing we need to do. With 3 boys and a slew of nephews I have seen and built my fair share of train tables and I have to say this table is by far the best one I have ever seen. It was a breeze to put together (just a few screws and about 10 minutes), its extremely sturdy, the graphics are beautiful and it is a great height for older kids and for storing all the train accessories in bins underneath it.

The thing I enjoy most about Halloween is the kids Halloween costumes. I have never been a fan of the big box store type costumes, they all look the same, they only last one night and there is always at least 5 other kids with the same costume.
Before I had kids I made Halloween costumes for friends who had kids, I made some really nice ones in my day! Since having my own kids I think I could count on one had the number of costumes I have made for them including a red Teletubby...
