Billy Elliot has arrived in the 'Burg and you don't want to miss it! I attended the opening night performance Tuesday and I was blown away. It made me laugh, made me cry, and gave me the chills in my book when you add those 3 things together the sum is a perfect show.

Our family camps. I love it, our kids love it even more. Not everyone would guess that about me. We don’t tent-camp anymore but we also don’t camp in a luxury hotel on wheels. Libby’s Fruits and Vegetables is making family mealtimes a reality for 5 Pittsburgh families who will be moving into Habitat for Humanity Homes in the Pittsburgh area in 2011. Libby’s announced that they will donate a dining set complete with place settings and a stocked pantry for each of the 5 families.

Those of you who know me know I LOVE the theater, going to see a show is one of my favorite things to do with my daughter. Emilee’s first show was Annie in 2003. After that first show, she was hooked and since then we have seen at least 20 shows in Pittsburgh.
More recently we have been trying to see shows when we visit NYC. On our first visit to NYC we learned about the Wicked ticket lottery from a mother and her daughters we met while we were waiting in line to get on the set of...
