This week in honor of Angie’s (one of the founders of I Heart Faces) Aunt Sharon who is a breast cancer survivor, they are doing a “pink week.”  In addition to the usual photo challenge they are also helping raise money for her next Relay For Life Event.  If you would like to donate please click the button below.

My daughter is going to be 13 soon and she is the only girl among 3 brothers.  It has been a LONG time since we had pink around the house!  I had to do some digging, I didn’t have a digital camera when she was a  baby.  I came across this photo of my daughter (in the red) and the daughter of a close friend of mine (in the pink)  It is from 2006, and they just happened to have the same costume for their dance recitals that year.  They don’t live very close to us so one day when we went to visit we brought our costume and they dressed up together for a photo shoot.
