You may have noticed that I have been MIA lately :( I miss my little corner of the internet, I hope you missed me too.

In case you hadn’t herd, I recently accepted a full time job with Collective Bias as the Community Manager for their Social Fabric Community.  It truly is my dream job, I’m home, I’m on the computer, I can still goto baseball games, PTO events, I’m traveling, I’m getting paid, and I am enjoying every minute of it.  Along the way the last few months I have kind of put my blog on the back burner so I could learn the ropes of my new job and learn how to have a halfway decent work life balance.  I think I’m almost there lol, so I’m coming back to give my blog a little love and I hope you will too.

I have done so much over the last few months that I haven’t shared with you and I need to catch you up! I won’t put it all in one post cause you would be here for a week reading (which would be good for my stats, but would be bad for your social life) but here are just a few.

I went to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration with my husband and kids and it was a DREAM vacation for all of us!  We were so blessed to have that time together. We had wonderful weather, the time of our lives and to top it off I got to see some of my best online friends too :)

I met Buddy AKA The Cake Boss at Giant Eagle Market District, I decorated a cupcake and got beat by another mom, the audience must have had stars in their eyes from Buddy cause mine was clearly the best but hey we can’t win them all right?

Also thanks to Giant Eagle Market District I also met Aarti Sequeria, Season 6 winner of The Next Food Network star.  She was so sweet and down to earth! I would love to see her again and get some cooking lessons, her St. Patty’s Day Corned Beef Hash was delish.

I went to NYC again… I’m a bit addicted to the city.  While I was there I attended the Getting Gorgeous event, which was every bit as amazing as I expected it to be, Audrey and Vera are amazing women and I got to see a lot of my online friends which is always nice.  I won a lululemon gift card from Degree…Seriously, I never win ANYTHING, it must be a clue that I need to take up yoga? I’m also inserting a commercial here (unpaid, unsolicited, …If you haven’t heard about the new DegreeMotion deodorant, you need to look into it, its amazing! Freshens every time you move.  They give away samples every Wednesday on their Facebook Page try to get one next week you will love it.

I went to my first Bloggy Boot Camp in Boston.  It was fantastic, Tiffany and Francesca really know how to put on a conference.  Just the right size, just the right info for any level of blogger, and just the right location.  Boston was great because I met many new people I had never met at a conference before. Normally it would make me a bit anxious not knowing anyone but I felt right at home and was excited to meet so many new friendly faces.  If you have never been to Bloggy Boot Camp I definitely recommend checking it out! There are still stops this year in Seattle, Chicago, Denver (I’ll be there!!) and Atlanta.

That pretty much sums it up! I’m happy to be back  :) Stay tuned for more great and more frequent lol posts about my life and my adventures.
