Only 16 days until we leave for #DisneySmMoms conference and we are so giddy!
One thing I wanted to make sure we all had for the trip was an autograph book. Last time I went to Disney with kids was in 2000 when Emilee was 3 and Zac was 1. We got the standard Disney autograph book at the park and when I got home I added photos and stickers.
It turned out ok and has been a great keepsake, but this time around I wanted something a little more personal and with more room to work so I decided we were going to make our own.
Darice 6 x 8 Memory Book ~ I picked these up at a local craft store called Pat Catan’s they were only $2.99 each! each book is spiral bound with a hard front and back cover and 60 blank white pages on the inside. Lots or space for the autographs as well as any photos.
Stickers ~ Disney stickers, letter stickers, number stickers. I had a HUGE stash but did purchase a few more on sale at Joann Fabrics. We used them for the covers and will also be using them when we get home to embellish the pages.
TUL Permanent Markers ~ I found these at Office Max after looking EVERYWHERE for some sort of pen on a string so we could attach them to the books. These markers have a loop in the cap, perfect for threading a ribbon through.
Ribbon or String ~ Whatever you have in your stash will work fine, just need about an 18 in piece to attach the pen to the book.
Lay all the stickers out on the table and let the kids go crazy!
Once you are all decorated, attach the pen to the spiral binding of the book with ribbon for easy access when you are ready for that all important autograph from Mickey.
The finished products, of course I had to make one for myself too because I want Mickey’s autograph!
#DisneySmMoms see you in 16 days!
