Being a mother of 3 boys, it is hard sometimes to get out and go shopping for clothes or even groceries for that matter, between refereeing, kids asking for things left and right, and the lines at the store, it can be exhausting! Daniel, my youngest is 9 months old now and is growing like a weed and already wearing a size18 months. With the weather changing, I decided it was time to find him some new things for the warmer weather. Rather than going to the store, I put everyone to bed and I decided to check out Cookieskids.com to see what I could find. This was the first time that I have shopped at Cookie’s and I was really pleased with the wonderful selection of clothes they have available.
The search function on the site it great, I put in what I looking for, then the size, and gender and it gave me pages of clothes, sleepers, shoes, socks, onesies to check out. I was looking for bright outfits for Summer and I found great deals on 2 outfits and 2 sets of PJ’s. I also thought I’d check out the winter clearance to see if I could find anything to save for next year, there were some great deals, but with Daniel growing so fast I have no idea what size he will be next week let alone next fall so I decided to pass.
Our package arrived about a week later, now the fun will begin, trying everything on Daniel without him getting mad at me.
These were the 2 outfits that I purchased, the quality of the clothes are great, they are soft and look well made. I think that Daniel liked them too, he is my little ham when he sees the camera.
These pj’s will be perfect when we want to just sit back, relax and have a pajama day.
Time for a fashion show! We call Daniel our little monkey, so this outfit really fits him well.
I think that he likes his new pajamas, look at the smile on his face.
I plan on shopping at Cookieskids.com a lot and telling all my friends about it too. It was easy, with no waiting in lines and no boys asking if they could buy everything in the store. If you are looking for some cute clothes for Easter, Cookie’s Kids is a great choice, they have the cutest boys suits and girls dresses at great prices.
This year Cookie’s Kids is celebrating their 40th year of business! Here is a little more about the history of Cookie’s Kids
In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer and Fall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.
As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.
By the late 1990′s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory. In addition to the online store, Cookie’s also has 7 stores in the NYC area in Bronx, Brooklyn and Jamaica. Be sure to connect with Cookie’s Kids on Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date on all the latest kids fashion.
