Your Shape for the Wii Review

I recently was sent a copy of the Your Shape for the Wii to use as part of a 12 week challenge I was chosen for through Collective Bias.  I have been using it now for about 8 weeks (minus 2 weeks in the middle when I was traveling) and I would like to share with you my thoughts on the game.

Join Me on Black Friday with #BFDeals!

I go shopping every year on Black Friday, its been a tradition for me for about 14 years now and I love it.  The excitement of the deals, the rush of all the people, the hot chocolate at 3 am, you just can’t beat it.  I normally hate to wait in lines but for some reason on Black Friday it really doesn’t matter, all that matters is having fun, spending money and shopping till we drop!

I am so excited to be a part of a new website created by Collective Bias called mybfdeals.com.  Here is the press release about the project:

Look Out Vegas Here I Come!

I am so excited to heading to Blog World Expo in Las Vegas this week thanks to Collective Bias, Blog World Expo, and Crocs! From what I understand BWE is the premier conference about all things blogging and I am looking forward to learning some new things.

While I am there I will be participating in Collective Bias’ Brands and Bloggers Speed Dating session and I have the chance to meet with great brands like Healthy Choice, Whrrl, Crocs, Catalina and e.l.f. I look forward to forming some long term relationships and strengthening already existing relationships with these companies. One of the reasons I started blogging was because I felt as if I was the “go to gal” in my circle of friends when it came to products, ideas and advice. I decided I wanted to share things I like and I am passionate about with a larger audience so I started my blog. In the past year I feel as if I have accomplished part of my goal, however I am still seeking strong relationships with brands. I don’t just want to review your product, talk about it for a few weeks and be done. I want more, and I think the brands that “get it” do as well. Working together as a team, bloggers and brands can accomplish great things.

As part of my trip I am excited to announce that I have been chosen as a Brand Ambassador for Crocs! Anyone who reads my blog knows we love our Crocs (seriously I wear them 90% of the time I have on shoes) and I feel like this is a perfect match for my blog. If you have any questions you would like for me bring up with Crocs or any of the other brands I will be meeting with, please feel free to leave me a comment or contact me through my contact form. My goal is to serve as a liaison between brands and bloggers and I hope future projects will allow me to do this.

BowlHer Video is Ready!

If you recall, I had the opportunity to help plan and be a hostess at a little shindig in Chicago called BowlHer.
