On The Road (Sky) Again

I have always enjoyed traveling but never really got to do much of it.  We would goto the beach each summer and that was about as far as I would get.  I have always  wanted to travel more and since I have started blogging my wish has come true.  Over the last year I have been fortunate enough to visit the following places

Nashville, TN ~ my first blogging conference  Blissdom! It was so exciting to meet all of my Twitter friends and form new friendships that have continued to blossom.  The wealth of information was so overwhelming for a newbie, but without it I don’t know where I would be today.

Austin, TX ~ SXSW Interactive, what an experience this was! Felt like a lost fish in the sea but made some FANTASTIC friends and connections.

Chicago, IL ~ Blogher! What a great time, so many faces, so little time. And who could forget BowlHer! BEST party EVER!

Chuggington Next Stop Your TV

There is a new show coming to Playhouse Disney on Monday January 18th at 10:30 am EST called Chuggington and my 4 year old son is going crazy waiting to see it! Every time we see the commerical for it he says (in his 4 year old attitude voice) “Mommy, why won’t the TV let me watch that show? Don’t worry  hunny the wait is almost over!

Hannah Montana Mania

As you read in my previous post my daughter and I went to see the Hannah Montana the Movie for her birthday a few weeks ago. I will admit I like Hannah Montana and I have been known to watch the TV show without any pressure from my children! I took my daughter to see the Best of Both Worlds Concert live and I was just as excited as she was! I could have sold the tickets for enough money to make a few mortgage payments, but the joy on her face when I gave her the tickets was priceless. So, of course I was excited to see the movie, I really enjoyed it and the music was really great! I may have even shed a tear or two during the movie.

So every movie of course comes with its own line of merchandise and Jakks Pacific and Disney have come out with a great line of new toys from the movie that are a must have for any Miley/Hannah fan!

We received the Hannah and Her Horse set which includes a Miley doll dressed in the exact outfit from the movie scene and her beloved horse. We also got the Hoe Down Throw Down Singing Miley doll. She too is dressed in her outfit from the movie and when you push a button she sings a line from the song! I am still trying to learn the dance, it’s not going so well. She even comes with a cute boot keytag you can use on your book bag!

Although my daughter and I are Hannah fans, we are a little old for toys, so I gave the dolls to my friend’s 9 year old daughter who is “Hannah’s BIGGEST fan” and she loved them! She was so excited she could hardly contain herself. Needless to say I think these would be great dolls for the Hannah fan in your life!You can find them at Walmart.com and you could win one here!
