Taylor Swift in Concert in Pittsburgh

A few weeks ago my 12 year old daughter and I went to see Taylor Swift in concert in Pittsburgh. I bought the tickets months ago when they went on sale and was fortunate enough to get them before they sold out!
The concert was fantastic, it was more that just a concert, it was a theatrical show and every minute made you want more and more. The arena was sold out, packed, and loved Taylor. At one point as she made her way back to the main stage through the crowd on the floor the audience went crazy and it turned into a 6 minute (my daughter timed it lol) standing ovation in the middle of the concert. Taylor was moved to tears by the outpouring from the crowd and it gave me goosebumps to think how amazing the whole experience must be for someone her age. We all dreamed of being a rock star at one point or another as little girls and she has done it and done it very well.
I really like Taylor Swift, she is a very talented singer and an awesome songwriter. The thing I enjoy most about her is her attitude and positive messages she sends to young girls. I feel she is a strong role model for my daughter. Throughout the concert there were various taped segments shown on a big screen and some of them included great messages for teens. Taylor recently teamed up with Best Buy and became their “Special Teen Advisor” on a website called @15. The site is geared toward teens and was created to give them a chance to make their voice heard about tough issues and use their passion and enthusiasm to do good things. If you haven’t checked it out go take a look and see what you think.
Here is a slide show I created of some pictures we took at the concert, I created it using Muvee software.

Looks like an amazing show and that you and your girl had an awesome time together! Bill and I just saw Kelly Clarkson in Youngstown, and it was really good. I wish I had brought the kids with me, but he was only able to get two tickets from work. I know my kids would love a show like Kelly or Taylor!
Glad you and Em had a great time. The movie was wonderful. Good work
