I have 3 dogs, a cat and 4 kids, needless to say my house doesn’t always smell “fresh” if you know what I mean.  I have tried all sorts of candles, oils, air fresheners, odor destroyers and anything else you can think of to make my house smell nice.  I have spent tons of money on designer candles, only to end up with a headache because of a sensitivity to certain scents.

Awhile back I began talking to a PR rep from Glade on Twitter and one day, when I was sick I think, she sent me a Glade Fragrance Collection 3 wick Currant and Acai Berri candle to make me feel better.  I had never tried this particular line of candles from Glade and I was pleased with the natural scent and how well it traveled throughout my home.  I was equally excited when several weeks later I came across coupons in the Sunday paper so I was able to go buy another one!

Glade recently came out with some new scents and I was contacted again by the PR rep to see if I would like to try out the new scents.  She sent me candles and reed diffusers in Jasmine and Wild Orchid, Currant and Acai Berry, and Lotus Bamboo scents. I love the reed diffusers because I don’t have to worry about a kid knocking over a candle and starting a fire.  Each scent was really pleasant and fresh, I think partly because they are natural soy based candles, I’m not sure why but these candles do not effect my scent sensitivity, which is great!  My favorite scent is the Currant and Acai Berry, they also make a Orange Vanilla scent that is awesome, it smells like a dreamsicle melting in your house.

The other thing I really like about these products is that they are very affordable, the reed diffusers are only $8.99, compare that to a designer one that you would pay close to $20 or more for.   Clip coupons out of the paper and the deal is even sweeter.  I have been stocking up to give them as gifts for the holidays.
