Yes there is a correct answer to the question! Dentists recommend changing your toothbrush every 3 months. If you don’t you could have a serious case of Invisible Nasties on that brush!
What are Invisible Nasties? They are the creatures, germs and bacteria that build up in your mouth and cause serious damage to your smile.
I recently visited the Colgate offices when I was in NYC for Blogher10 and I found out just how many bacteria there are in my mouth and let me tell you, the more they talked about it, the more I felt things crawling around on my tongue! Here is just a little comparison for you on just how much bacteria lives in your mouth
YUCK, if there are that many germs in your mouth can you imagine how many are on your toothbrush? Don’t take any chances, make sure you change the toothbrush.
As part of Colgate’s Invisible Nasties campaign, they asked me to go shopping for new toothbrushes for everyone and to have my kids share what they thought Invisible Nasties would look like. Here is my Whrrl of our experience. Make sure you check out my kids creations at the end, they did a great job!
