If you read my blog you know I get lots of opportunities to try out and review all sorts of products. Each day when the UPS or FedEx truck pulls up outside of our house, my kids beat me to the door to see what cool thing we get to try next. They love it as much as I do 
I wish I would have had my camera going when I showed my 12 year old daughter the email I received from RockFish Interactive asking if I was interested in working on a project with Walmart that involved receiving a $500 gift card and using the money to makeover her room with their new line of Your Zone merchandise. It is an understatement to say she “freaked out!” She is quickly (TOO quickly) approaching her teen years and it was time to overhaul her room, clean out some of the things she had outgrown and jazz it up a little. The Your Zone line of merchandise is perfect for kids her age, lots of bright colors, cool accessories and fun patterns. So as I am sure you have already guessed, we said yes! This is by far the best thing I have been asked to do in the short life of my blog.
We started by going to the Your Zone section of Walmart’s website and trying out the virtual room designer to see what stuff she liked. With the designer you can pick what you like and it puts it all together in a room so you can see what it will look like, it’s pretty neat. She tried lots of different combinations of items and finally decided what she really liked. Once we got to Walmart and starting shopping, she completely changed her mind and got all different stuff than what she picked! So we loaded up our cart and headed home to get started.
A little funny side story, we have been traveling a lot this summer and we visited Walmart’s everywhere we went and she has stuff in her room that was bought at not only our local Walmart but also Walmarts in Nashville, TN; Erie, PA; and somewhere near Ocean Isle, NC! Its kinda cool when she looks at the items in her room she thinks about the places we visited this summer!

We are very pleased with everything we purchased. I have built way to much furniture in my life and I have to say the bunk bed had great directions and went together very well, we didn’t have any parts missing, damaged or otherwise unusable. The bedding and pillows are all very soft and easily cleaned and the accessories are all really cute!
